We are delighted to announce that Dr. Philipp Reschke from the Division of Experimental Imaging (DEI) has been awarded funding within the Clinician Scientist Program of the Frankfurt Research Funding initiative.

The Clinician Scientist Program provides protected research time for clinically active physicians and supports the development of an independent academic career alongside clinical training. Within the program, Dr. Reschke will further pursue his translational research activities at the interface of advanced medical imaging, quantitative imaging biomarkers, and artificial intelligence.

His research within the DEI focuses particularly on the development and clinical translation of innovative CT-based imaging approaches, including photon-counting CT, cardiovascular imaging, and AI-supported quantitative image analysis. The program will provide an important framework to further strengthen these research activities and translate methodological innovations into clinically relevant applications.

The successful funding represents another important step in the academic development of Dr. Reschke and further strengthens the DEI’s commitment to supporting young clinician scientists and fostering translational imaging research.
