We are honored and thrilled to announce that BMDNow has been awarded the Goethe Innovationspreis 2024!

Our team BMDNow (collaboration with Fraunhofer IGD Darmstadt and Garritz International) received the Goethe Innovationspreis 2024 (Goethe Innovation Award) by the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt in context of a wonderful ceremony organized by Goethe Unibator.

It’s a great honour for our team to win this award, that recognizes the hard work, dedication, and innovative spirit of our entire team. At BMDNow, we develop automatic opportunistic volumetric bone mineral density assessment based on regularly performed CT scans without the requirement to use calibration phantoms and implement this approach into clinical routine in order to detect osteoporosis earlier. By accelerating and improving the detection of osteoporosis, our final goal is to avoid osteoporosis-associated complications such as fracture and immobility that have an huge socioeconomic impact on healthcare systems worldwide.
