Last Friday, the fellowship of Dr. Giuseppe Bucolo, radiologist from Messina, Italy came to an end unfortunately. He started his fellowship at our department in early February, when Prof Blandino and Prof D’Angelo from University Hospital Messina sent him to improve his skills. Special focus of his fellowship was on CT research in collaboration with the division of experimental imaging (DEI) (led by PD Christian Booz and Dr Ibrahim Yel) and on interventional radiology. During his fellowship he participated in various research studies of our department including contrast optimization in vasuclar imaging using spectral CT, AI implementation for CT-based intracranial hemorrhage and characterization of adrenal gland incidentaloma just to name some of them. Besides, he assisted in many interventions in the angiography and CT. We really appreciated his support, contribution and valuable input. We wish all the best for the future. Ciao Giuseppe!
