Lecture on Clinical Applications of Dual-Energy CT in the Acute Care Setting @ ESER 2018

Last week Dr. Booz spoke about clinical applications of dual-energy CT in the acute care setting at the Annual Meeting of the European Society for Emergency Radiology in Krakow, Poland (19.-20. October 2018).

In his lecture Dr. Booz gave an overview of cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and urological applications of dual-energy CT regarding emergency radiology. In this context he focused on color-coded iodine maps for the detection of pulmonary embolism and myocardial infarction, the usage of VMI+ images for CTA/CTPA and the application of color-coded virtual non-calcium (VNCa) reconstructions in MSK imaging including several DEI studies.
